Fleur du Petit Thouars is a Feels Like Home in Paris design – A newly renovated project in the Northern Marais (NoMa). This, bright, cozy & romantic haven has all the amenities that any discerning traveler could require.

This is a Feels Like Home in Paris creation. Every detail was considered when designing this luxurious space, from the choice of artwork, to the light fixtures and linen. Each item was selected for its esthetics, practicality and above all, functionality.

The warm gray/green tones create a cozy, dreamy setting in which to relax and lounge or to enjoy the numerous amenities, including (but not limited to), cable TV with international news stations (CNN, BBC World, SKY News), Free international and local calls (US, Australia, Canada, EU, and many more) and Free WIFI access and the use of a Mac computer during your stay.

The bedroom contains a comfortable queen-size bed, decked with lush pillows and individual lighting to accommodate late night readers.

Lay back and listen to your own music from your iPod or iPhone on our iHome dock or tune into local radio stations to set the perfect mood.

A large wardrobe provides plenty of storage space to make settling in easier both for short or long stays.

Sliding doors separate the living room from the bedroom to create two real rooms but also allow you to take advantage of the extendable flat screen TV which has been positioned so you can also watch it from the bed.

We have installed blinds on the double-glazed windows which while providing privacy still allow an ample amount of natural light into the space. If you prefer to have complete darkness, the metal volets (shutters), outside the windows can be drawn closed.

The shower room is off the bedroom and though it is small, the use of space has been maximized and provides a wall to wall shower. The WC is separate from the shower room (located close to the apartment entrance), and was also redesigned to become a more funcational space.

From the moment you first walk into the apartment you feel a sense of peace & calm.

The first room you encounter is the kitchen which has a full oven, 2-ring vitroceramic stove top, a washer/dryer combo and small fridge with freezer. All the tools you will need for preparing scrumptious meals can be found in this petite cuisine including a Nespresso machine, baking dishes and even a hand mixer.

We’ve provided a small library of books and a selection of DVDs as well as guides to help you prepare your exploration of the city.

The living room is roomy and has a pull out sofa bed containing a very comfortable thick Bultex mattress.

Two arm chairs provide additional seating and dining in is made easy with our coffee table which doubles as the dining table by lifting up at the pull of a lever – very convenient!

The keyword here is Romantic Paris rental! Ideal for two but providing the possibility of a third person on the sofa bed. You’ll enjoy your stay in Paris and return home relaxed and hopefully enchanting by this little Marais flower.

About The Area

Le Marais (the Marsh), is one of Paris’ oldest historic districts. In the 13th century the Order of the Temple built his fortified church just outside of Paris’ wall, in the northern part of the Marais (now referred to as NoMa).

In 1361 King Charles V built his mansion hotel Saint-Pol and brought the royal court into the Marais. For centuries this area was the stomping ground of Kings, Queens and nobles alike. And the vestiges of their presence remains throughout the district – Hotel de Sully, Hotel de Beauvais, Hotel Carnavalet and Place des Vosges (formerly Place Royal).

After the nobles left, the area transformed into a commercial mecca and became host to Paris’ main Jewish community primarily in the area around rue des Rosier.

Today the Marais is synonymous with Paris’ nightlife, trendy eateries, fabulous shopping and gay friendly establishments. There’s something for everyone.

Full both of history and chic & trendy living the Marais continues to draw in the crowds. The Northern Marais tends to be quieter but is still teaming with activity and fabulous eateries.

Apartment Location

Metro Temple is less than 5 minutes away and the area is full of many bars and restaurants to choose from. You can also make use of metro Republique where 5 lines will zoom you around the city.

The beautiful Square du Temple is a lovely park in which to relax reading a book or watching the children play.

Le Marché des Enfants Rouge which is Paris’ oldest covered market, is a a great spot for dining as well as for food shopping.

Walk to many of Paris’ places of interest, including the Centre Pompidou (11 mins), Hotel de Ville (15 mins) and the Louvre (25 mins), Place des Vosges (20 mins), March é des Enfants Rouge (6 mins), Canal St Martin (10 mins).
